Product Design

We design products while taking into consideration their life cycle by integrating the concept of circular economy and using recycled materials to reduce environmental impact from start to finish.

Sustainable Materials

More than 30 million of our computers and display products incorporated post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics in 2020-2022, showcasing our dedication to reducing the use of virgin plastic and our carbon emissions.

Repairable and Upgradable

We prioritize modular designs. Our products are intentionally designed to be easily disassembled, repaired, and upgraded to extend their lifecycle.

Energy Efficiency

Our goal for our computer products is to consume 45% less energy by 2025, compared to 2016. In 2022, 69% of our notebook, desktop, and monitor products obtained the ENERGY STAR certificate.

Packaging Design

Our packaging uses recycled materials and provides extended usability.

Recyclable Packaging with Reduced Plastics

For Acer notebooks, 90% of cardboard boxes are made from recycled paper pulp and are 100% recyclable. We also make conscious efforts to reduce the amount of plastic used in our packaging.

Functional, Reusable Packaging

Our Vero packaging offers added value through reusability, serving as a storage box, a laptop stand, or a plant container, turning the packaging into multi-function items for everyday use.

Recycled Paper All the Way

Since 2017, we have shipped over 64 million notebooks with inner paper pulp cushion protection, crafted entirely from 100% recycled paper.

Our Partners

Production
