Lydia Wu has served as General Counsel of the Acer since 2010. In this capacity, she heads the worldwide legal department, responsible for overseeing legal activities and policies as commissioned by Acer’s Board of Directors. Wu also holds the position of Corporate Governance Officer since May 2019.
Wu joined Acer in 1988 and has held various leadership positions. She is well-versed on the legal challenges of the ICT Industry, and areas that have become inherent to digital globalization and cross-border business. In recent times, Wu has endeavored in areas such as intellectual property rights, global licensing, international litigation, compliance, and corporate governance.
Wu holds a law degree from the College of Law, National Taiwan University, and is a member of the Taipei Bar Association.
