Jerry Kao became Acer’s Chief Operating Officer in May 2023, having served as Co-Chief Operating Officer since November 2018. A seasoned professional of the PC industry with more than 25 years of experience, Kao led Acer’s IT Products Business as President since March 2016, responsible for the end-to-end management of business and product lifecycles.
Kao joined Acer in 1995 and has served in various positions in project management and branding of IT devices. His broad area of expertise ranges from product research and development to sales and marketing. Kao studied Electrical Engineering at Taiwan’s National Tsing Hua University, and holds an MBA from National Chung Hsing University.
