Acer China and its brand ambassador, winter Olympic champion Ting-Yu Gao, launched an initiative called "The Future of the Earth is Beautiful Because of You" in October 2022, calling on people to take action to reduce their impact on the environment and strive for a low-carbon lifestyle.

At the same time, 11 Acer Green Pioneers (opinion leaders of different trendy lifestyles) and 40 Acer Eco Ambassadors (eco-friendly youths active on social media platforms) were invited to join the environmental protection action and create events through Fans UGC (user-generated content) environmental activities to boost environmental awareness.

Winter Olympic Champion Men’s 500m Speed Skating

During the campaign period, a total of 18.5 million users joined the environmental protection initiative of Ting-Yu Gao, while 500,000 users joined the environmental protection activities of Fans UGC under four themes: reduce plastic bags usage, green travel, bring your own cup, and transform old things, to boost the awareness of environmental protection and speak up for environmental protection together, and at the same time, continuously enhance the environmental protection influence of Acer brand. The campaign reached 50 million people, bringing together the power of all people to achieve the vision of "The Future of the Earth is Beautiful Because of You".
