Andrew Hou was appointed President of Acer’s Pan Asia Pacific Operations in March 2016. Prior to this, he served as General Manager of Acer’s Stationary Computing Business in 2013, overseeing the desktop PC product line.
Hou initially joined Acer as director of the sales and global strategy division of the Mobile Systems Business in 1995. From 2000 to 2012, he held various positions in computer ODM companies; he served as Vice President and General Manager of the System Solutions Business Unit at Liteon Tech Corp., and Chairman and CEO of Clientron Corp.
Hou has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Syracuse University in the United States, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan.
