The installation of solar panels on the rooftop of Acer Iberica's headquarters heralded a new chapter in the company's commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency. Over the course of 2023, the photovoltaic cells churned out 84,000 kWh of energy, slicing the firm's reliance on grid-supplied electricity down to 366,400 kWh. This shift amounted to an impressive 18.65% reduction in energy usage, showcasing the impactful role renewable resources can play.
Solar energy, being both infinite and clean, diminishes the need for fossil fuels, which are not only limited but also major contributors to environmental pollution.
